One site visit. A design built for Zone 9a/9b heat, sandy soil, and HOA rules. A transparent, line-by-line quote before any work starts. And the same crew who designs it — installs it.
The builder put in the cheapest sod and three generic shrubs and called it done.
Then the Florida sun hit. The sandy soil dried it out. The HOA sent a letter. And now you've got a front yard that looks exactly like every other house on the block — except worse, because yours has been through four summers without a plan.
You've thought about fixing it. You've probably Googled it. Maybe you even called a company and waited two weeks for a quote that turned out to be a vague number scribbled on a notepad — no breakdown, no explanation, no idea what you were actually paying for.
Here's what most landscapers won't tell you:
A yard without a design is just expensive guessing. The plants go in wrong. They die in the wrong spots. The mulch washes out in the first storm. Six months later you're pulling everything up and starting over. And if you hired someone cheap? You probably already know how that ended.
You don't have a landscaping problem. You have a “no one gave me a real plan” problem.
It starts with someone who walks your property — not someone who quotes you over the phone. Someone who looks at your soil, checks your sun exposure, identifies what's salvageable and what needs to go, and tells you honestly which plants will thrive in your specific yard in Central Florida's Zone 9a/9b climate.
Then you get a plan. Not a mood board. A real design with a line-by-line quote — every plant, every cubic yard of mulch, every paver border, priced out before anyone touches your yard.
Then the same people who built that plan show up on install day. No handoff to a subcontractor who's never seen the design. No surprises.
We're not a mega-estate firm. We're a local Central Florida crew building residential landscapes in Clermont, Haines City, and the surrounding area. We know this soil. We know this climate. We know what an HOA in Lake County actually allows — and what Florida law says they can't block.

A FREE IN-HOME DESIGN CONSULTATION
We come to your property and look at the soil, drainage, sun exposure, and what's already there. Not a phone call. Not a satellite view.
We identify what will actually survive Central Florida heat, drought cycles, and sandy soil — and what won't. No expensive plants that die by August.
Curated plant selections for your space — drought-tolerant, HOA-compatible, and built for this region.
Borders, stepping stones, decorative rock, or mulch beds — we walk through what would work in your space and why.
We identify 2–4 lighting placements that change how your yard looks after dark — with honest numbers on what it adds.
Line by line. Every plant, every yard of mulch, every paver, every hour of labor — priced before we start. No lumped estimates, no mystery totals.
There is no sales pitch at the end. You get the plan and the numbers. You decide.
Fill out the short form below. Tell us your project type and a rough budget range. We'll confirm your slot within 24 hours.
We come to your property, walk it with you, and talk through what stays, what goes, and what you've always wished it looked like. We take notes, measurements, and photos.
Within [X business days] of your site walk, you receive a written plan with a line-by-line quote. Every item is explained. Nothing is lumped together.
Once you approve the plan, we schedule your start date. The same crew that walked your property removes old material, preps beds, installs plants and hardscape, and applies fresh mulch.
When the install is complete, we walk the finished project with you and explain care for every plant we installed. Want us to maintain it? We can set that up — or you take it from here.
We know which palms handle Clermont's winters, which ground covers survive sandy Lake County soil, and which plants HOAs here actually approve. Knowing which ones, in which spots, for your conditions — that's the difference.
We don't hand your project off to a subcontractor who's never seen the design. The crew that walks your yard is the crew that installs it. That's not common in this industry. It should be.
You will never get a surprise invoice. The quote we hand you is the number we work to. If something unexpected comes up mid-project, we stop and talk to you before we proceed.
Ask us to see it. We'll show you before we start. No vague reassurances — actual documentation.
Florida law (§720.3075) limits what HOAs can prohibit for Florida-Friendly Landscaping. We know the rules, review your guidelines with you, and design within what they actually allow.
Want Blue Daisy to maintain what we build? We can set it up at the walkthrough — same crew, same knowledge of your plants and yard. No re-explaining the design to someone new.

PLACEHOLDER — real review #2. Focus on the HOA concern or the budget-transparency experience. Real quote, name, neighborhood.
PLACEHOLDER — real review #3. The before/after: what the yard looked like before, how the site walk felt, the finished install.
The Design Day™ consult is free. Completely. No deposit to hold the slot. No obligation to move forward after the site walk. No sales pressure at the end of the visit.
The only way this consult costs you anything is if you choose to hire us afterward. That decision is entirely yours.
Book My Free Design ConsultationHonestly, it depends on scope, square footage, plant selections, and whether hardscape is involved. Based on current Central Florida market rates: smaller projects (a bed or two, mulch, a few plants) typically run $3,000–$6,000. A full front-yard renovation with palms, a defined bed layout, mulch, and paver borders generally runs $8,000–$18,000. Full-property transformations with lighting and hardscape start higher. We give you a line-by-line number after we see your yard — not before, because we won't quote something we haven't assessed. Anyone who gives you a firm number without visiting is guessing.
We do both. The person who designs your plan is on the crew that installs it. No hand-off to a subcontractor, no "my other guy" on install day. A design means nothing if the crew installing it has never seen it.
The site walk is 60–90 minutes. You'll have a written plan and itemized quote within [X business days] of the visit. From approval to install start depends on our current schedule — currently [X weeks out] for new installs. We give you the honest wait time when you book.
We spec Florida-Friendly, Zone 9a/9b-appropriate plants by default — drought-tolerant species that handle sandy soil and heat cycles, and won't need a sprinkler running every day to survive. During the site walk we assess your sun exposure, drainage, and soil, then recommend plants for those conditions, not a generic list.
Probably less than you think. Florida statute §720.3075 limits what HOAs can prohibit when it comes to Florida-Friendly Landscaping — many homeowners don't know HOAs can't ban certain plant categories by law. We review your HOA guidelines with you during the consult, design within what they actually allow, and flag anything they're restricting that they legally can't.
We don't offer in-house financing currently. Projects are paid on the timeline outlined in the agreement. If financing matters to you, we recommend exploring home-equity or home-improvement loan options before the consult — knowing your available budget helps us design to it accurately.
Yes. If you want Blue Daisy to maintain what we build, we can set up a plan at the walkthrough. The advantage: the same crew that installed your landscape knows your plant species, irrigation, and layout — you don't re-explain anything to a new company. It's an optional add-on, not a requirement.
Yes, and we prefer it when possible. Demo and disposal cost money. During the site walk we assess what's worth keeping — healthy trees, salvageable shrubs, existing hardscape — and factor it into the design before touching anything. Renovation over replacement is our default unless the existing material is too far gone.
We serve Clermont, Haines City, and surrounding communities in Lake County and Polk County — including [add specific cities / zip codes]. If you're unsure whether your address qualifies, put it in the form and we'll confirm.
You've been looking at the same yard long enough. Fill out the form — it takes 90 seconds. We'll confirm your consult slot within 24 hours, come to your property, assess the space, and hand you a written plan with a transparent quote before any work starts.
No obligation. No deposit. No salesperson. Just an honest picture of what your yard can become — and exactly what it costs to get there.
P.S. — Most install slots book out [X–X] weeks after the consult. The sooner you request yours, the sooner your yard is on the schedule.
Thanks — we've got your details. A member of the Blue Daisy crew will reach out within 24 hours to confirm your design consultation. Keep an eye on your phone and email.
